1 : I took my 3 year old here for her first haircut today. The lady who cut her hair was so kind and made my daughter feel really relaxed. My daughter left with a nice haircut and a lollipop given to her by the hairdresser which was a nice surprise. She will look forward to going again!
2 : My son is autistic & used to be petrified of the hairdressers because of all the noise, people, bright lights, it all caused sensory overload. We started seeing Claire, she is amazing. She takes the time to explain things, let’s him look at the items she’s going to be using & really puts him at ease. I 100% recommend the Cutting Bar.
3 : My granddaughter decided she wanted to trim her fringe, (badly), so a Sunday trip to the Cutting Bar was on. We arrived and were greeted by Becky. My granddaughter was sat in the chair and Becky took a look and said that she was not going to cut her hair that high so she would do what she could. Ended up with a quick fringe trim to disguise the self cut and we will have to wait for it to grow back. So I took the plunge and got my hair cut too, Becky was quick and offered some advice about what hair I have left, and did a wonderful job and turned me from a mad professor into a fairly normal person. Overall Becky was brilliant, very easy to talk to and offered suggestions about the cut, very affordable and I would have no problems in coming back to the Cutting Bar again.
4 : Nice place and friendly staff. Walk in and wait. Didn’t have to wait too long to be seen but only a few staff were in. But hey, odd times still given Covid. Will go again.
5 : I went for my hair cutting – it was very long and I wanted it shorter but not short and not layered. What I got was a really short cut that was layered. It seems, that despite being very specific about what I wanted the stylist totally ignored what I had said. I hate my hair now. I will have to wait months for it to grow out – I look terrible. Waste of £11. I was offered a free haircut but that’s not going to happen – I won’t go there again. I was not offered a refund but I really would like compensation for the distress I have been caused – won’t get that either!
